“desperation’s the tenderest trap, so gently you go”

From the studio Monday – Shouting out to the Sisters today. Special Shout outs to Susan, Trish, Joan .@Wohali and Francine. Thank you for the friendship, the uplifting, and also inspiring. Sister Awake is the name I gave to the piece in the window. I played the Tea Party for awhile on my ipod, checked out a multi-dimensional work of water color, and pondered where I would go with that. The current body of work exploding out of me is pushing boundaries of materials. I love the armored sculpture belonging to artist and permaculture practitioner Susan Loughry. Susan said she picked it up somewhere after attending what sounded like a wonderful pottery workshop, not to mention blacksmithing! YES! I said blacksmithing. Wishing you love and happiness.sculpt
