I have always loved Poe. I was delighted when this song was featured in a video game: Alan Wake. Poe wrote a lot about her father, and her brother wrote a book of the same name of the CD. an excellent collaboration. A lot of people don’t know that when in college instead of going the party route; she was in the studio lab working and writing. Much respect to her for that.
The music and lyrics are very deeply ingrained into my being. I was haunted for so long, but those tears and fears are now buried.

The only thing that could make this song better for me is doing a duet with Natalie Merchant. Such beautiful words, such beautiful thoughts. This humbles me every time I listen, and “it leads me closer to peace.” I wish that for you always, I really do. Love and kindness always.
